Schedule of Buddha-Ribo Festival |
| To the Northern
West part of Nepal, above the altitude
of 4000mts, there lies a hidden land of
Dolpo, unspoiled tradition and culture.
It is a place where great scholar
Kunkhyen Dolpo Sangye was born. In this
spectacular region lies a beautiful
valley of Dho-Tarap. It is aplace where
great Pandita Second Buddha
Padmasambhava tamed an evel force and
established three stupas, which holds
great religious importance. Thsi year
Female-Iron-Rabbit falls 12th year
religious festival of Buddha Ribo,
located in Dho-Tarap valley and give
blessings to the local peoples. |

Morning |
| H.H. Rabjam
Rinpoche will visit Dolpo Buddhist
Center's Monastery, where Khenpo Menla
and Dhana Buda along with local people
welcome his holiness in traditional way
and Rinpoche will give audience and
teachings to local Buddhist devotees for
two hours. |

Afternoon |
| Local and
neighboring people of Dho-Tarap will
welcome his holiness Rabjam rinpoche
with eight auspicious signs. Then the
president of the committee Lama Namgyal
will offer welcome Madala to his
holiness. |

monastery through Konchok Chidue and
enthronement of Gakar Choktul Rigzin
Choedup. |
| Khendo Tsewang
Samdup will preach on Mandala. Then
exhibition of various sacred and holy
articles of Gakar Monastery. |

| In the
afternoon local people will great Gakar
Tulku with traditional buddhist scarves
and students will entertain with various
dances. |
| His holiness
will plant a tree to mark the 10th
anniversary of
Dolpo Mantsi Khang and
deliver speech regarding the
conservation of Snow-Leopard and
Environment of the region. |
